- About five years ago a woman put two dumplings and a sheep's head into an oven on a Sunday morning so as they would be boiled when she would come home from her religous duties.
She left her son at home while she was away.
The two of them lived in a small house near Ballyfarnon.
She was not long in the Church when her son came in.
When she saw him she made signs to him so as he would not speak.
"Never mind your signs but come home" says he, "the sheep's head has already ate one of the dumplings and when I was leaving he was chasing the other dumpling around the oven".
The woman got up from her seat and left the Church because she was ashamed of her son.- Collector
