    grand-father being a skilled craftsman in the former. Candle-making and soap-making was done by members of the peasantry a century ago.
    A great number of crafts existed in this town in olden times, but, alas! few of them now survive. Nothing remains of them now, save a glorious memory of them in the minds of the Irish people.
