is sometimes seen from this fort.
Long ago the fairies held patterns in those places and occasionally the people of the district heard music and the fairies in the fort. Not far from my house there is another fort in a field owned by a man named McGlynn and it is said that the fairies had a pass between two these two forts. A man named Boland once attempted to build a house on the pass, but after having a few day's work built he went out one morning to find it throwing to the ground. However he rebuilt it and he never had any luck in it.
