    Agricultural Loan Bank. Near the Railway there was a Barrack from which Barrack Street got its name.
    The mail Coach running from Dublin to Ballina used to "put up" from the night in a way-side inn, believed to have been situated where Curley's live at present. At the end of Pound street near where the sculptor now works was an old pound and there was a farigreen where the Cathedral now stands.
    There was a chapel where St Mary's Hall is. In the corner opposite the power-
