Date:- 3.10.37In one of our fields there stands a mass rock. Mass was said there in the Penal Days. Before a priest called Father McCann died he is supposed to have hidden gold and silver vessels some place near the rock. It is said that some man found a long strip of linen. Nobody knew who this man was.
Many a night my grandfather saw lights in this field. Several attempts have been made to locate the treasure but they were always in vain. One night before I came to live here, a band of young men went to(continues on next page)- Collector
