    About fifty years ago an old couple lived in a small house opposite the Castle in Castlemore. Johnny Peadar Ruadh was the name of the old man and his wife's name was Nelly. It happened one morning that Nelly mentioned a dream that she had three nights in succession. She dreamt about a crock of gold that was buried on the side of the Castle.
    A man came to her in her dream and pointed out the exact spot to her. She would not be able to get to the treasure until twelve o'clock at night. She was not courageous enough to get it. He brought a spade, a lamp and a pick with him.
