    One dar Winter's night as I was sitting beside the fire reading a book a knock came to the door. I walked up and opened it and in walked one of the neighbors who was a noted storyteller. We all asked him to tell us a story and after much pressing he began as follows:
    One time there lived an old woman in a little house at the top of a hill. She kept a little shop and in that shop she kept old bottles and rags. She used to say that she has no money but she was telling lies.
    There was a young lad who used to visit her everyday. One day the boy made
