    I heard the Danes built them and that they were often to be seen out among the heather making wine. They made them to defend themselves against the Irish.
    Lights are often to be seen in the fort and in the lisheen. I am told a lonely cry is sometimes heard in the cashel. The owners of the land do not interfere with them when setting crops
