- About forty years ago my grandfather Malachy Healy dreamt of a crock of gold three nights in succession which was hidden at the Lissergool crossroads in his neighbour's land. But he also dreamt that another man, whose name was Flynn, would have to be with him in digging for the gold.
He asked this man to go with him (before) but he was afraid and would not go.
He got a spade and went to dig for the gold himself. After ha had dug a little way down in the ground he (had) found a square flag about an inch thick which bore the inscription in print "Under this there is a treasure." He dug a little farther
down and he found a small crock which was filled with dry shells about the size of sovereigns. The gold had changed into shells because the other man was not with him in getting it. So all he had was the crock and the flag.- Collector
