- (continued from previous page)Fish were caught on Friday. A goose or a turkey was killed and oaten cake made for Xmas day. For breakfast on Easter Sunday was a pot of eggs and for the dinner a turkey or goose and the same on New Year's Day. Some people would kill a young goat or a lamb.
