    is caught on to one of the bottom sticks and an other stick in the shape of a fork is put under neath it to hold it up.
    When the cradle is being set some food is put inside it and when the bird comes along and sees the food he hops into it and hops on the briar then the fork gives way the cage falls and he is trapped.
    The bottom of the cage is like a triangle and from that up it has a sort of a round shape.
    In Winter I put the cradle in a place where birds are most likely to be. It is also often put where the hens are fed.
