- (continued from previous page)There is a big Locán near our house. It was formed by the river overflowing. there were many big black fish in it.
One day a man named John Flynn was sitting on a hill beside the Locán fishing when a big black fish appeared on the bank.
He was so terrified that he ran up the field but the fish crawled after him and caught him by the coat.
John Flynn took off his coat and left it to the fish. He thinking it was the man he took and tore it in bits.
This fish was ever afterwards called "Swally".- Collector
