- The game of Lurabóg Larabóg is still played by children at night round the fire when their boots are off. One child takes a rod and as he repeats the words he goes round and leaves the rod gently on each shin but when he comes to the end of the rhyme he gives a strong blow to the last foot. The children sit round on the floor and pull their feet out from them. The following is the rhyme used in this district.
