    father was the first man to defeat him in the Four Courts in Dublin.
    This nail factory was always in the O'Connor family. The present owner my uncle - Dominic O'Connor is champion Connaught Step-dancer. His father was Edward O'Connor who was connected with the Fenian movement and whose father was Tom O'Connor. Nails tongs, etc, are still made to order there but the only one of the workers remaining is John Samways from Corofin who is an Old Aged Pensioner and prefers to end his days in Ballymoe.
