- Houses
At the present time there are houses being built in Ireland. long ago the houses were much different to what they are now.
The houses long ago were thatched and it was wheaten straw they used mostly. There were not many houses slated.
The chimneys were made of wood. Later on they started to build them with stones alone. The stones were closely fitted together.
