    doors. In each forge there is only one fireplace. The bellows are heart shaped and there are two pieces of wood one on the bottom and one on the top about two feet apart. It is worked by hand. There is a weight at the back which is worked by a handle at the top and connected by a chain. The bellows are not make locally.
    The implements the smith uses are:- a hammer, a pincers, an anvil, a vice, a sledge, a rasp, a knife, a thongs, a buffer.
    The smith makes ploughs and harrows and repairs them. He shoes horses, asses, ponies. He shoes horses and wheels in the open air. The horses are shod outside the forge, and wheels are shod near a river or stream. I never heard of any local belief regarding to forge-water
