    the stone against a very high wall, he threw and put it up about three quarter ways. Then came the Priests turn. He fastened his overcoat and threw the stone clear over the wall. Then Colonel Becher said he would give him any thing he wanted, and all the Priest asked was the site to build a church on and there the Skibbereen Procathedral is built on.
    There was another man named Bill OBrien who lived in Droumadoon, was able to lift a five cwt. weight above his knees with a heavy stone on top of it. There was one other man whose name was John ORegan and he lived in Licknavar, who was only able to lift it a couple of inches from the ground.
