  1. The last night of October is called Oidhche Shamna, or Hallow Eve.
    There are piseógs in connection with Hallow Eve. I will now give you some of the pideógs.
    1. They say that if you looked into a mirror, you should see the person you are going to marry.
    2. My mother usually makes a Barm Brack, with a ring, a stick, and many other articles. It is believed that the person who gets the ring, will be married first. Some people believe that, that fairies, púcaí and spirits, are out on Oidhche Shamhna.
