“One night very late as two men were returning home from playing cards they had to pass by a lios and just as they were passing they saw a light.”
(continued from previous page)that the light was close on them and saw clearly that there was nobody with it. They started to run but the faster they ran the faster the light travelled and it did not disappear until they were nearly home.
They were tired and frightened when they reached home and made sure from that time forward that they never passed the lios again after night.(no title)

Once there was a little girl who was very fond of her father and when ever she would be leaving the house she would wave her hand to him. She died when she was about eleven years and the father was very lonely for her. One night as the other members of the family were upstairs going to bed he was sitting by the fireside alone. He looked out the window and he saw the little girl outside the window waving to him and then she disappeared. A few months later the father was buried himself.- Collector
