The most harmful weeds or plants growing on our farm are: the dandelion, heartsease,camomile flowers and house-leek.
These are small little plants which grow on certain kinds of land.
Some of these plants are harmful because they are poisonous.
The dandelion spreads rapidly but all of them impoverish the soil.
Very few of them grow in good land the grow in 'poor' land.
Almost every herb has some medical virtue or other.
The dandelion is used to cure yellow jaundice.
Heartsease is said to cure heart disease.
The juice of the camomile flower will it is said, cure sore eyes.
