  1. We have a churn at home.
In almost every farm-house in this district there is a churn as farmers here keep one or more cows.
The churn that we have at home is about two feet high. It is about one foot in breadth at the mouth, and it rests on two little stands each 15 ins long.
It is about 25 years old.
Everyone in the house who is able to churn helps with the churning
The churning takes from 15 to 20 minutes.
The churn is worked by the hand.
