- There is a Teac Alluis - still called the "Sweat-House" locally - in Johnny Groarke's field in Highbog. It is situated in a hollow on a height. It is about 6ft wide in front. It has a flat roof, is partly covered over by earth. It seems to be about 8' long inside. One cannot get in the door on account of a fall of earth. The pass in to the door is about 1 1/2 ft. long. There is a large stone over this pass about 3 ft. long. It is round in shape inside and level with the ground on top. It is built on the side of a hill. There is a pond about 100 ft. from it
