    Though the man was little his honour was great.
    Stir up my brave landlord and give us a treat.
    This landlord is a wealthy man
    Into his house I carried my "wren"
    And this little box I bring under my arm
    Five or six pennies will do it no harm

    Give us our money and leave us go away".
    The people wear shamrock on "St. Patrick's Day". They eat a lot of pancakes on Shrove Tuesday evening. It is a custom to get married during Shrove. On "Ash Wednesday" the people put holy ashes on their foreheads. On "Good Friday" the strand for "bairneacs".
    It is a custom on Easter Sunday to eat as many eggs as possible. On May Day furze for good luck, bringing in the "Summer" it is called. The people will not sell
