- The old people used buy and sell several things.
After mass every Sunday in Eyeries the people used sell apples, buns, sweets, "crúibíns" and other things.
The old people had a butter market in Eyeries once a week which is now extinct. There is also a butter market which is held always. Most of the farmers sent their butter to this market until very lately when a creamery was started in town. Most of the people send their milk to the creamery leaving very few supporting the market.
