One night when they came to the strand it began to rain. They went under tarpolan which they had for covering the sceine when they had it inside. The púca came out and jumped over the men without touching them. They did not see him for about a month after that, and they thought he was gone.
A night that they caught a lot of fish. When one man went home he sent his two sons to the strand for fish he left under the tarpolan. The púca hunted them and they went under the tarpolan and stead there for the night until the morning. They called him the púca for that reason. He went away in the end himself.
