From Donoughmore to Mallow town,
Historic spots of famed renown.
A wretched village lies between,
I think by name they style it Beeing.2
I called in there last New Years night,
To treat some friends as I thought right.
And while five minutes just were fleeing,
They stole my carriage whip at Beeing.3
That dreary God forsaken place,
Where honour seldom shows its face.
May Carrigcleena's fairy Queen,
Forever haunt the homes of Beeing.4
May peace and plenty visit not,
Each rude dilapidated cot.
That cradled beings so vilely mean,
