- They were usually given free lodgings and slept either in the kitchen or in a barn.
They had certain houses, usually inhabited by people of great charity, where they called. In the course of their daily travels they were given charity in the form of potatoes, meal or flour.
They carried a large bag for the potatoes in which were placed two small bags one for meal and the other for flour. They cooked ie boiled potatoes made cake in the houses, either on the day or in the course of their travels, or in the houses at night.
Their presence always attracted a crowd of visitors.The Delinine (?) are not remembered
