- About the year 1916 there was a woman named Mrs. Thomas Murray Clonellan. She used to spin. First of all they used to sow flax and then used to cut it and then they would squich it. When they would have it squiched they used to put it in a bog hole for a week and then they used to take it up and dry it by the fire.
Then they used to spin it and card it. When they used to have it carded they used to bring it to the factory to get it woven.- Collector
