- One day a woman was milking a cow near a lake on the top of Mount Gabriel which is so deep that its depth cannot be measured. The cow being cross kicked the bucket and it fell into the middle of the lake. It fell to the bottom of the lake and it was found next day by a fisherman in Schull Harbour.
