He was an inhabitant of Long Island but I do not know his name.When the famine was nearly over a Workhouse was built to the east of Schull and all people who were dying went there. To the back of the workhouse there is a graveyard where the people who died were buried. The graves can still be seen.
- There was a work house made East of Schull for the people who were dying. Every day there were thousands of dying people carrying to the work house and half of them died and there was no coffin made for them. There was one big hole made in a(continues on next page)
