    and cement and water mixed together. When that was dry and hard all the stones were clung together. The top stone was one round flat stone with a hole in the middle of it. There was a handle on it. They twisted it and the top stone would go around and the wheat would be ground between the two stones. That flour was called "rebuan." They had not anything to take the bran out of the flour and they left it in because they thought it was better with the bran in it. The old people say that the querns they had were as good for grinding, as the mills they have now.
    They made cakes from potatoes also in olden times. That was called "stampy." They washed the potatoes first and they grated
