  1. In Toureen there is a mass rock and holy well. The mass rock is at end of field owned by M Collins. Within a few yards of the Rock is a large flag stone lying flat. At one corner of flag is a little well about 4" in diameter and 5" or 6" deep. It has a stone cover chiselled to fit exactly the mouth of well. There is a tradition that the well never goes dry. It is called Tobairín na bFaithne.
