the game of Gowling. It is a very nice and interesting game. It is on the smooth roads that game is played. It is on Sunday and holidays the people go bowling. When a tournament is to be thrown each man must pay a half a crown to enter. There is a certain place appointed for starting and finishing. It is with the same bowl each man throws. Whatever man would cover the road in the shortest amount of throws would have won. Then that man would get all the money. That game is well known in Co. Cork. There is always a great crowd watching the people that play bowling.
