    not in winter.
    The water that is used for washing the feet is never thrown out. It is said that a girl threw out the water in which she had washed her feet and it was thrown back in her face.
    Boots are made and repaired in this district in which there is only one shoemaker. It has been a tradition in the family for ages.
    Long ago there was only one shoemaker in each town and now there are about six.
    Clogs were worn locally and they are still worn
