    Nay-gur" - a mean cowardly fellow.

    "Nay-gur" - a mean cowardly fellow.
    Usually in phrase - "A little nagur"
    Táthaire - a mean fellow. A term of abuse rather indefinite in meaning
    Cabaire - a "crabbet" youngster.
    Crabbet - very prudent. The word carries a suggestion of disapproval or disparagement when applied to grown people. Almost like "mean and cunning"
    Bás-brónach - a "dead-and-alive person",
    "One you would think the life would be thrown on him with a pike"
    A weak, easy-going, good-for-nothing.
