    There was a man in Behigullane long ago -70 years ago- Jacky Lyne.

    There was a man in Behigullane long ago - 70 years ago - Jacky Lyne. He had four or five labouring men. There is a big lios there, and this year he wanted them to plough the lios field and they wouldn't do it. Every time it was tilled they said someone died in the family of everyone that had a hand in it. He asked them if they would till it if the took on himself whatever ill-luck was to fall. He offered to go to the lios field at the dead of night and walk around it nine times calling out - in Irish of course he spoke - "Whatever misluck is to fall on people for the tilling of this field, let it fall on me." The men agreed to till it if he did that. Jacky went and did as he had promised, and the field was
