- This game is played on the road with with an iron ball called a bowl. At first a mark or sign is made on the road and then the players throw the bowl as far as they can. Whoever is "hind" i.e. whoever has shortest throw and is therefore furthest back, must throw next and they continue in this way until a certain place is reached. Whoever is first at this point wins the game. If one player has a shot more thrown than the other and is "hind" the other has a bowl of odd[?]
