    O'Mahony's Castle is the name of Castlke Bernard by right and O'Mathghamnas Road is the name of the Road.

    Castle Mahon later known as Castle Bernard is situated to the West of Bandon. It was taken by the O'Mahonys in the year 1400 when they deserted Castlelack. The castle of Castlelack was small and it did not stand
