    Mineral Water factory:-
    A very flourishing Mineral water factory was carried on by the firm of Mr N. J. Walsh and Co. in the Glen and the premises are now occupied by Mr John Murphy and used as a Coal and Manure Stores.
    The Minerals manufactured by this firm being of a high class order secured several prizes at Exhibitions, and were often sent to Cobh.
    Rope Making:-
    About sixty years ago the people of Kinsale used to make ropes on the High Road overlooking the Harbour. Mr O Driscoll taught them how to make the ropes.
    Sail Making:-
    Long ago down in Main Street there was a shed in which sails were made, Jerimiah Casey and Mr Murray were
