    and a few others succeeded in rescuing one; alas all the others perished except Mr Everhart who had an almost miraculous escape.
    The bodies of the dead found on the ill-fated ship were interred in Templetrine Protestant Church about a mile distant and mural tablet giving the names of the deceased is in Templetrine Protestant Church. The Mr Rochford in question built this school and gave a gold chalice to the Catholic Church. Alas the Estate now is in Protestant hands. There is a man living in Garrettstown whose name is Mr Coveney and his grand-father saved one person off that ship.
