- Everybody has heard of this little wee man who sits under a dock-leaf, a thistle or a "puca padhail" mending boots.
We would all like to catch him because he has a little purse called "sparán na sgillinge"
It is not easy to catch the "clutharachán" as he is called here about.
He is a clever little fellow, and if he happens to be caught he tries many tricks to escape.
He tells his captor to look behind him that there is a big bull going to strike him or a dog to bite him or something else like that.(continues on next page)- Informant
