    There are horses fed in stables, for hunting and for racing
    A park for recreation for the roeback and fawn
    Huntsmen often chasing wih their foxhounds and their beagles
    And Reynard fast retreating through the plains of Drishane.
    Just near the hall convenient there's a water-pump located
    Most artfully completed for sprinkling the flowers
    In its borders circumjacent are the nicest green plantations
    Fine walks for recreation under green shady boughs
    The lime-kilns are kept blazing with calm most unspasing.
    To distant lands reclaiming, the same has been drawing
    The quarrying operations, so loud and neverberating
    With harmony prevailing throught the plains of Drishane.
    There are strangers from all quarters strolling by its borders.
    Along the Blackwater to Killarney by train
