On the wedding day the bride and bridegroom each accompanied by their friends leave their homes at an appointed hour to meet in the church where the marriage is to be celebrated. The bride is the last to arrive at the church. When the marriage cermony is over the wedding party sometimes go for a drive and afterwards go to the brides home where the wedding feast is held. They sing, dance and drink toasts to the happy pair, who a few hours later generally go away for a week or two on their honeymoon. If the marriage takes place in the city a wedding breakfast is ordered at some hotel where the party arrives in due time. There is usually a "hawling home" held at the bridegrooms home on their return. All the neighbours are invited for the ocasion and celebrate it in(continues on next page)- Collector
