Another cure was to put a small stone for each wart into a purse and then to throw away the purse. It was believed that the one who picked up the purse would get the warts.
Burns:- A person whose tongue had been rubbed with a Earc Luachra had a never failing cure for burns. Such a person cured the burn by licking it.
Stye:- A cure for this was to rub it 9 days with a gold marriage ring.
