The priest was of opinion that it was someone from the other world awakened him the second time.He also told me that:-Two men left the townland of Islandbrack to consult a fortuneteller who was then staying in the townland of Renagoshel a distance of about 3 miles across country.
When leaping off a fence one of the men got his foot into a cow's track full of water which splashed up on his face: he uttered an unparliamentary remark about the fortune-teller.
Whe he asked the fortune-teller later what information she had for him after "crossing her palm" with a florin; the coin with the cross on it; she asked "what remark did you make about me when you jumped off the fence a half an hour ago?"
