The people also go to Tullylease well on the 18th February. There are two wells, and sore eyes are cured there. The people bring away a bit of stone, and when a storm comes they throw the stone against the wind, and it is supposed to calm it. On May day the farm and crops are blessed with holy water. Crosses are made with twigs on St Brigid's night and hung on the dwelling house in honour of the saint.
