  1. Near Glenlara there is a very large field and in it are seven very large stones it is said that they were put there by giants. One of the stones is much larger than the other and it is said the Father put the big stone there and the six sons put one each near the fathers, the father's stone is going right through the centre of the ditch into the ground, and it is said that it would take a great number of men to lift one of them.
