  1. Irish people all over the world are noted as being excellent judges of the weather not from the aid of scientific instruments, but by the study of the instruments given to us by God such as the Moon, Sun, Stars etc.
    When the cat is washing himself by the fire it is a sign of rain, and when swallows are flying low it is a sign of rain also.
    When there is a circle around the Moon it is a sign of rain and when spiders move around at night it is a sign of rain.
    When mountain sums near it is a sign of rain.
    When the sky has a white smoky color it is a sign of snow.
    We always know when a storm is due by the whistling of the wind and the dark and cloudy sky.
