    Con", as the English translation of it is, "Foxy Con's Field." "The Hawn Cross" got it's name from a little stream which used to flow across the road there.
    "Clountycomade" a place very near situated on a hill and it's English translation is "The House of the Watching."
    An old woman is supposed to have stepped from one rock to another one and land over which she stepped is called, "Kiskeam" which means a footstep.
