    my district and burnt a church and the people who were attending mass in it. This church was situated in Dromtariffe, about five miles to the south-west of Kanturk, Co. Cork. Now nothing remains of the church but some of its walls.
    The famine caused the same starvation in the barony of Duhallow as it did in other parts of Ireland.
    As regards Cromwell's death and burial they are not spoken of in my district.
